Coty IncMissed profit estimates, wider loss, and withheld guidance despite revenue beat.

Coty Inc. reported a 1.3% rise in fiscal fourth-quarter net revenue to $1.27 billion, beating analyst expectations for a decline, but its adjusted loss per share of 2 cents was wider than the expected 1-cent loss, and the company withheld full-year guidance, calling fiscal 2027 a "transition year" amid the Gucci exit. The revenue beat included a 3% currency tailwind, with like-for-like revenue falling 1%, the seventh straight decline but the smallest in 18 months. Coty's adjusted gross margin fell 140 basis points to 60.9%, and adjusted EBITDA dropped 26% to $93.6 million. The Gucci exit brings in $250 million at signing and $150 million more by September 2027, which Coty will use to pay down debt and fund restructuring. Shares fell 7% in extended trading.
