NVIDIA CorporationAWS orders 1 million chips; CEO sees $1 trillion in GPU sales; new Vera Rubin architecture boosts inference power.
A $25,000 investment in Nvidia a decade ago would be worth over $4 million today, but the stock has recently tracked the S&P 500 with a 7% gain this year. Nvidia is rolling out its Vera Rubin architecture, which combines a new GPU and CPU to deliver 35 times the inference power of Blackwell, and Amazon Web Services is ordering 1 million Blackwell and Vera Rubin chips. CEO Jensen Huang sees a $200 billion addressable market in CPUs and expects $1 trillion in sales of Blackwell and Rubin GPUs across 2026 and 2027. Even with a 30% compound annual growth rate, revenue would reach $943 billion in five years, and at a price-to-sales ratio of 10, a $25,000 investment would grow to about $48,460, making a million-dollar outcome unlikely in the near term.
