Coupang LLCSwings to net loss of US$570 million due to regulatory fines, integration costs, supply chain disruption, and heavier marketing.

Coupang reported second quarter 2026 revenue of US$8.9 billion, up from US$8.5 billion a year earlier, while swinging from net income of US$32 million to a net loss of US$570 million. The loss reflects regulatory fines, higher integration costs from acquisitions such as Farfetch, supply chain disruption and heavier marketing. Developing Offerings, including expansion in Taiwan and the Coupang Eats platform, is gaining traction but is expected to keep EBITDA in loss territory for now. The next few quarters of segment reporting will be important, especially whether Developing Offerings EBITDA starts to narrow its losses and how product commerce margins trend after the data incident and fines.
