L3Harris Technologies IncAwarded a contract to CPI Aero for pod structures, supporting its own contract with the U.S. Navy for the jammer program.
CPI Aerostructures received a fully definitized $13.6 million contract from L3Harris Technologies to deliver airborne pod structures for the Next Generation Jammer Low Band program. The award replaces a previously announced undefinitized contract action that had a not-to-exceed value of $12.1 million. CPI Aero will supply pods that L3Harris is building as operational prototypes for the U.S. Naval Air Systems Command, supporting fleet assessment and airworthiness testing on the EA-18G Growler. The company has already delivered the first test article and has been providing design-for-manufacturing engineering support since the program began in late 2024.
