Cullinan Oncology LLCPhase 3 trial met primary endpoint, showing significant PFS improvement for zipalertinib combo.

Cullinan Therapeutics and Taiho Pharmaceutical announced that the Phase 3 REZILIENT3 trial of zipalertinib plus platinum-based chemotherapy met its primary endpoint of progression-free survival in first-line treatment of locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer with EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations. The multicenter, randomized, controlled, open-label global trial enrolled 285 adults and demonstrated a statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement in progression-free survival with manageable safety. The Independent Data Monitoring Committee recommended unblinding the study, and full results will be submitted for presentation at an upcoming international medical conference. Following the news, Cullinan Therapeutics shares rose 6.33% to $20.84 in after-hours trading, marking a new 52-week high.
