Dexcom has promoted Jereme Sylvain to Chief Operating Officer while he continues to serve as Chief Financial Officer. In the expanded role, Sylvain will take oversight of Dexcom's global operations and quality teams, a move the company said will drive greater alignment, speed and accountability as it pursues growth and operational excellence. Sylvain joined Dexcom in 2018 and has been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2021, building a finance leadership team and guiding the company's growth and margin expansion. President and CEO Jake Leach called Sylvain an exceptional leader and valued strategic partner, saying his operational discipline and customer focus make him the right choice to help Dexcom scale more effectively. Dexcom, based in San Diego, describes itself as the global leader in glucose biosensing and has pioneered the field for more than 25 years since its founding in 1999.
