Diodes Incorporated guided third-quarter revenue to approximately $510 million, plus or minus 3%, with a GAAP gross margin of 35%, plus or minus 1%, as it advances its proposed acquisition of ElevATE Semiconductor. Chief Financial Officer Brett Whitmire reported second-quarter revenue of $445.5 million and gross margin of 33.1%, while President and CEO Gary Yu said the ElevATE deal is immediately accretive and expected to add about $50 million of revenue in the first 12 months post-close, with gross margin significantly higher than Diodes’ corporate average. Yu also noted that automotive revenue reached a record 21% of product revenue in the second quarter, and Senior Vice President Emily Yang said channel inventory decreased again, falling below the normal range of 11 to 14 weeks. The company projected non-GAAP adjusted earnings per share of $1.05, plus or minus $0.10, for the third quarter.
