Dollar Tree reported second-quarter adjusted earnings per share of $2.70, beating its outlook, with net sales up 7% to $4.9 billion and comparable store sales up 3.7%. The company received $383 million in tariff refunds, which contributed $1.31 to EPS, and it raised its full-year adjusted EPS guidance to $7.70–$8.05, including a $0.60 net benefit from tariffs. CEO Mike Creedon cited improved store execution and stronger traffic, which turned positive earlier than expected, while CFO Stewart Glendinning noted that the company is reinvesting about $210 million of the refunds in pricing, marketing, and store operations. Dollar Tree also committed $40 million to its Impact Fund for community support and repurchased 5.6 million shares for $605 million during the quarter.
