The dollar-yen pair held firm in European trading, with notable resilience on the downside. As NYMEX WTI crude oil futures climbed above the $90 per barrel level, dollar buying sentiment strengthened, pushing euro-dollar toward $1.14 and dragging euro-yen down to around 186.30 yen. Elevated US 10-year yields also lent support to dollar buying. So far, trading ranges have been dollar-yen from 163.28 yen to 163.44 yen, euro-yen from 186.31 yen to 186.61 yen, and euro-dollar from $1.1404 to $1.1424.
