Investors are also watching earnings from Alphabet and Tesla, the first of the Magnificent Seven members to report this cycle, to assess whether billions of dollars in AI investment are starting to pay off. Meanwhile, a Reuters poll of economists indicated the Federal Reserve is likely to hold interest rates steady for the rest of 2026, and data from CME Group's FedWatch tool showed investors see about a 66% chance the Fed will keep rates unchanged at next week's meeting.
