DTE Energy has appointed Renee Tomina as president and COO of its DTE Gas subsidiary, following the retirement of long-serving executive Robert Richard. DTE Gas serves about 1.4 million customers and is overseeing a major natural gas infrastructure modernization across Michigan, including the replacement of more than 4,000 miles of pipelines. Tomina is a long-serving insider who previously ran the Project Management Office and held a vice president position at DTE Gas, with experience spanning operations, customer service, and electric operations. Her appointment places a new leader at the center of DTE Gas operations at a time when the business is focused on both system modernization and customer service.
