The bill credits include $24 annually for heating, $45 for cooling, $30 for a pool pump, and $42 for a water heater, totaling $141, while mobile home residents can receive up to $111 in annual credits. Most customers start saving immediately without changing their habits, as long as they use at least 600 kilowatt-hours of energy per month. Melissa Seixas, Duke Energy Florida state president, called the program one of the easiest ways for customers to lower their energy bills.
