Ecovyst IncRaised 2026 EBITDA guidance and reported strong Q2 results

Ecovyst reported second quarter 2026 adjusted EBITDA of $53 million, up 27% year over year, and raised its full-year adjusted EBITDA guidance to a range of $195 million to $207 million. Sales reached $250 million, up $74 million, driven by higher sulfur pass-through costs, favorable net pricing, and strong demand for regenerated and virgin sulfuric acid. The company closed its acquisition of the Calabrian sulfur dioxide business on June 30, which is expected to contribute $10 million to $12 million of adjusted EBITDA in the second half of 2026. Ecovyst ended the quarter with a net debt leverage ratio of 2x, at the low end of its 2 to 2.5x target range, after funding the acquisition with $100 million of additional debt. Full-year sales guidance was raised to $1.02 billion to $1.06 billion, and adjusted free cash flow guidance was increased to $45 million to $55 million.
