Electricity Generating Public Company LimitedEGCO expects Q3/69 seasonal growth, profit recognition from BPU/KLU share sales, and is accelerating M&A with a 30bn baht budget to expand capacity.

EGCO expects its Q3/69 performance to grow seasonally, benefiting from the high season of hydropower plants in Laos and large power plants in South Korea and the United States. It is also set to recognize profits from the sale of BPU and KLU shares under its Asset Recycling strategy. Meanwhile, the company is accelerating M&A negotiations using its 30 billion baht investment budget to increase generating capacity this year. The company is confident that generating capacity will increase despite the partial share sales, and it also has plans to accommodate data centers interested in investing in the ERIE industrial estate.
