Suzhou Electrical Apparatus SciCompany swung to profit with revenue up 15.69% and high-voltage testing revenue up 27.32%.

Electric Power Research Institute released its 2026 half-year report on the evening of August 26. First-half revenue reached 275 million yuan, up 15.69 percent year on year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was 26.45 million yuan, swinging from a loss to a profit. Revenue from high-voltage electrical appliance testing was 226 million yuan, up 27.32 percent year on year. Low-voltage business declined because the same period last year included CQC testing business, but growth in the high-voltage business drove overall performance. In the first half, the company completed a number of major testing tasks, including a biaxial wave test on an SRSPLB 7500 kVA oil-immersed transformer, an ingress protection rating test on a 12-meter large integrated AC/DC energy storage container, and a full type test on a 500 kV transformer. It also obtained one new invention patent and 15 new utility model patent grants.
