Electrolux reported a second-quarter net loss of 1.6 billion Swedish kronor, swinging from a net income of 178 million kronor a year earlier. Loss per share was 3.16 kronor compared to a profit of 0.36 kronor in the prior year. Excluding non-recurring items, operating income rose 51% to 1.2 billion kronor from 797 million kronor. Net sales edged up 1% to 31.6 billion kronor, with organic sales growth of 2.0% driven by higher volumes in EMEA, APAC, and Latin America, while North America saw an organic decline amid weaker market conditions.
