Emerson has appointed Rudy Sengupta as Senior Vice President, Chief Technology and AI Officer, effective August 15, 2026. Sengupta, currently Vice President and General Manager of Test and Analytics Software at Emerson Test & Measurement, will join the Office of the Chief Executive and lead the company's technology and AI strategy across its industrial software, control, and intelligent devices portfolio. He succeeds Peter Zornio, who will retire on December 31, 2026 after two decades with Emerson. Sengupta brings more than 20 years of technology leadership experience and has advanced the Test & Measurement segment's software and AI capabilities since joining through the acquisition of NI.
