Energy Ministry Monitors US-Iran Conflict, Promotes E20 to Save 5 Baht

The Energy Ministry has revealed that it is closely monitoring the situation of the conflict between the United States and Iran, following the surge in Brent crude oil prices by 7.4% to $94.65 per barrel, while WTI increased by 8.2% to $90.22, and Dubai rose by 7.32% to $88.75. It assesses that prices will remain volatile and may rise further. The Ministry continues its measures to assist the public, such as reducing refinery gate prices until September 15, 2026, and utilizing the Fuel Fund despite a deficit of over 80 billion baht. It also promotes the use of E20 gasohol, which is about 5 baht per liter cheaper than gasohol 91. Thailand has sufficient ethanol and 13 car brands support it.
