Eni S.p.A.Eni takes FID on Greater PAJ Project, targeting first oil in 2029 to boost production

Eni and its 50-50 joint venture Azule Energy have taken the final investment decision for the Greater PAJ Project, Angola's first integrated cross-block offshore development. The project will combine five fields—Palas, Astraea, Juno, Urano and Dione—across Blocks 31 and 31/21 into a single hub tied to a new floating production, storage and offloading vessel with a capacity of 95,000 barrels of oil per day. The FPSO will also export 70 million standard cubic feet of gas per day to the Angola LNG facility via a new line connected to existing Block 31 infrastructure. First oil is targeted for the first half of 2029, supporting Eni's production growth and Angola's output goals.
