Betta Pharmaceuticals announced that the results of the ELEVATE study of its ALK inhibitor ensartinib for adjuvant treatment of stage IB-IIIB ALK-positive non-small cell lung cancer have been published in full in the New England Journal of Medicine. This multicenter, randomized, placebo-controlled phase III clinical trial enrolled 274 patients. Results showed that the 2-year disease-free survival rate was 86.4% in the ensartinib group and 53.5% in the placebo group, reducing the risk of disease recurrence or death by 80%. The domestic marketing application for the new adjuvant treatment indication of ensartinib was accepted in November 2025 and is currently under review. Globally, only alectinib is currently approved for this indication, and ensartinib is expected to provide a new treatment option for patients.
