Equinox Gold CorpSigned 20-year land access agreements enabling restart and potential expansion of Los Filos mine.

Equinox Gold has signed 20-year land access agreements with the three communities hosting its Los Filos Mine in Guerrero, Mexico, paving the way for a gradual restart of heap leach operations and technical studies for potential expansion. The agreements cover the communities of Carrizalillo, Mezcala and Xochipala and include an overall policy on labour and supply services. The company has begun environmental remediation, permitting, workforce rehiring and retraining, and supplier contract negotiations. Los Filos holds 5.4 million ounces of mineral reserves, 7.9 million ounces of measured and indicated resources exclusive of reserves, and 3.2 million ounces of inferred resources as of June 30, 2022, with significant exploration upside. Equinox Gold is advancing technical work to evaluate a carbon-in-leach processing facility and potential increases to mill throughput, and has not included any production from Los Filos in its 2026 guidance of 700,000 to 800,000 ounces of gold.
