Exelon reported second-quarter 2026 total operating revenues of $5.97 billion, up 10% year over year, with electric operating revenues of $5.71 billion versus $5.37 billion a year earlier. Second-quarter operating income rose 5.6% to $979 million, while adjusted operating earnings climbed 10.3% to 43 cents per share. In July, Exelon unit Baltimore Gas and Electric filed an electric distribution rate case with the Maryland Public Service Commission seeking recovery of investments and operating costs. Exelon plans to invest nearly $41.7 billion through 2029, supporting 7.9% average annual rate-base growth and adjusted operating earnings growth near the upper end of its 5-7% target range. The Zacks Consensus Estimate points to 2026 and 2027 EPS increases of 3.25% and 6.60%, respectively, and the stock carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).
