FactSet Research Systems IncFactSet amended its credit agreement to expand its revolver to $1.5B and extend maturities to 2029/2031, boosting borrowing capacity and reducing near-term principal outflows.
FactSet Research Systems has amended its credit agreement with PNC Bank, extending maturities and expanding its revolving credit facility from $1,000,000,000 to $1,500,000,000. The revised agreement keeps the $375,000,000 term loan in place but removes scheduled amortization and pushes its final maturity to August 28, 2029, while the enlarged revolving facility now matures on August 28, 2031. This shift increases FactSet's committed borrowing capacity and reduces near-term principal outflows, though the company still carries a high level of debt. The amendment also removes the 0.10% credit spread adjustment on SONIA and SOFR borrowings, slightly refining its interest cost structure. The added flexibility is intended to support funding for acquisitions like Irwin and LiquidityBook, as well as continued investment in GenAI products and data feeds, while the company manages rising technology costs.
