Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh said on Wednesday that recent inflation figures provide an imperfect measure of underlying inflation. He made the remarks while testifying on the Semiannual Monetary Policy Report before the US Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs.
