Fiserv, Inc.President resignation and potential sale of debit card network create uncertainty, stock slipped 0.4% after hours.
Fiserv President Dhivya Suryadevara has resigned for good reason as defined in her 2025 offer letter, effective Tuesday. She will remain a non-executive officer employee through July 31, 2026, to ensure a smooth transition. The resignation follows a media report that Fiserv is exploring a potential sale of its debit card transaction network to a group of major U.S. banks. Andrew Gelb, vice president and chief operating officer of Financial Solutions, and Srini Krish, head of technology and operations of Financial Solutions, have been named interim leaders of the company's Financial Solutions business, effective immediately.
