The President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand revealed that foreign investors have net bought more than 60 billion baht in the Thai stock market from the beginning of the year to date, with most of the funds coming from long-term funds, reflecting confidence in the Thai economy and political stability. The Stock Exchange of Thailand is in the process of revising listing rules for New Economy companies by relaxing the three-year historical profit requirement, in order to allow high-potential businesses that are not yet profitable to access the capital market more quickly. It is also speeding up the IPO offering process and pushing for BOI 2.0 criteria, which are expected to be finalized within the third or fourth quarter of this year, to attract more companies investing in Thailand to list.
