Freshpet raised its 2026 outlook after reporting second-quarter net sales rose 15.5% to $305.6 million and adjusted EBITDA increased 18% to $52.2 million. The company now expects 10% to 12% sales growth and $210 million to $220 million in adjusted EBITDA for 2026, up from prior guidance of 8% to 11% and $205 million to $215 million, respectively. Adjusted gross margin expanded to 48.6% in the quarter, and the company raised its 2027 gross-margin goal to at least 49% while maintaining its 20% to 22% adjusted EBITDA margin target. Growth was supported by a 41% increase in digital orders and expanding distribution, though management noted higher fuel and logistics costs and challenging third-quarter comparisons.
