Nestle S.A.Froneri, a Nestlé joint venture, invests €30m to expand capacity, potentially boosting Nestlé's ice-cream segment returns.

Froneri, the ice-cream joint venture between Nestlé and PAI Partners, is investing €30 million to add new production lines at its Osnabrück plant in Germany. The investment will add a new automated line for Mövenpick family-pack ice creams and additional lines for private-label products, with operations expected to begin in time for the 2027 ice cream season. The company said the expansion will significantly increase capacity and lay the groundwork for further growth in both branded and own-label segments. Froneri operates more than 30 production facilities globally, including two in Germany.
