Fuel Fund Committee Raises Diesel by 0.75 Baht and Gasoline by 0.60 Baht Amid Middle East Tensions

The Fuel Fund Executive Committee has resolved to raise retail prices for all fuel types, with diesel increasing by 0.75 baht per liter and gasoline by 0.60 baht per liter, following a surge in global oil prices to $164 per barrel due to the conflict between the United States and Iran. This has forced the fuel fund to bear compensation costs of up to 357 million baht per day. The adjustment takes effect from September 2, 2026, with regular diesel retailing at 39.14 baht per liter, gasoline at 47.28 baht per liter, gasohol 95 at 38.29 baht per liter, and gasohol 91 at 37.92 baht per liter.
