Garmin has announced the acquisition of athlete training platforms TrainingPeaks and TrainHeroic to strengthen its fitness ecosystem. The acquisitions come as the fitness segment's revenue in the second quarter of 2026 grew 25% to 757 million US dollars, while total company revenue reached a record high of approximately 2.02 billion US dollars, up 11% from the same period last year. The fitness segment's growth was driven by strong demand for wearables in the Forerunner, Vívoactive, and Venu product lines. In Thailand, Garmin reported 30% growth in the second quarter and 36% growth in the first half of 2026 compared to the previous year, with running and wellness products as the main drivers.
