GE Aerospace raised its quarterly dividend by 30.6% to 36 cents per share in February 2026 and repurchased $2.2 billion of its own shares in the first quarter, while paying $381 million in dividends, up 26.2% year over year. The buybacks were executed under a new $20 billion authorization approved in December 2025, following a 2025 in which the company returned $1.45 billion in dividends and $7.6 billion in repurchases. GE expects to generate free cash flow of $8.0 billion to $8.4 billion in 2026 and has a plan to boost total shareholder returns by 20% to approximately $24 billion from 2024 through 2026. Exiting the first quarter, cash, cash equivalents and restricted cash stood at $11 billion, well above short-term borrowings of $2.1 billion. By comparison, Honeywell International paid $781 million in dividends and repurchased $1 billion in shares in the first quarter, while Howmet Aerospace paid $48 million in dividends and bought back $300 million in shares.
