GE Vernova LLCMoU to restore over 5 GW of generating capacity in Venezuela, boosting demand for GE Vernova's services.

GE Vernova has signed a memorandum of understanding with Venezuelan state-owned utility Corpoelec to repair, modernize, and stabilize the country's national power grid. The agreement, signed on June 16, aims to restore 1 gigawatt of generating capacity over the next two years and more than 5 gigawatts within four to five years. Bernstein analyst Sunaina Ocalan initiated coverage of GE Vernova with an Outperform rating and a price target of $1,206, implying an upside of over 8% from current levels. The firm noted that rising demand driven by energy security, decarbonization, and global demand concerns positions GE Vernova as an end-to-end power and electrification equipment and services provider.
