Goldman Sachs Asset Management, the asset management arm of US financial giant Goldman Sachs, has launched an artificial intelligence investment platform called Alpha AI. According to an internal memo obtained by Reuters, Lou D'Ambrosio will lead Alpha AI with the title of Chairman of AI for Asset Management. He explained that AI is expected to further widen the gap between companies not only across industries but also within the same industry, and Alpha AI was built to uncover such investment opportunities.
