Coursera IncUpgraded to Neutral with raised price target and estimates due to Udemy acquisition.
Goldman Sachs upgraded Coursera from Sell to Neutral, citing new growth opportunities from its acquisition of Udemy. Analyst Eric Sheridan raised the price target by $1 to $6.50, noting that the combined company now derives 85% of total sales from recurring subscription revenue across enterprise and consumer businesses. Sheridan lifted third-quarter revenue estimates to $365 million from $205 million and adjusted EBITDA to $54 million from $22 million, but expects a wider GAAP loss of $0.24 per share due to restructuring charges and stock-based compensation. For fiscal 2026, revenue is projected at $1.23 billion with adjusted EBITDA of $169 million, though the per-share loss is seen widening to $0.92. Coursera shares rose 10% on Monday following the upgrade.
