Grab Holdings LtdGrab consolidates Superbank, gaining majority control and expected synergies.
Grab Holdings is set to consolidate PT Super Bank Indonesia into its financial services segment on May 20, following a share transfer from Singtel to GXS Bank that lifts Grab’s direct and indirect shareholding above 50%. Superbank now serves more than 6 million customers and processes over 1 million daily transactions, having achieved its first full-year profit in fiscal 2025 with year-on-year asset growth of 72% and net interest income growth of 84% as of April. The consolidation aims to harness the Grab and OVO ecosystem for lower-cost distribution and data-powered credit underwriting, while integration with GXS Bank is expected to accelerate product innovation and expand financial inclusion in Indonesia.
