Guangxi Guidong Eletric Power Co LtdExpects net profit of 100-140 million yuan in H1 2026, turning from loss to profit year-on-year.

Guangxi Energy disclosed its earnings forecast, expecting a net profit attributable to the parent company of 100 million to 140 million yuan in the first half of 2026, compared with a loss of 70.9078 million yuan in the same period last year, turning from loss to profit year-on-year. Deducted non-recurring profit is expected to be 90 million to 130 million yuan, compared with a loss of 81.0464 million yuan in the same period last year. The improvement in performance is mainly due to profit growth in the hydropower, power supply, and onshore wind power segments, as well as reduced losses in the thermal power segment. The hydropower segment benefited from better water inflows, increased power generation, and additional income from the disposal of the Danzhu First-Class Hydropower Station. The power supply segment saw increased self-generated electricity within the grid, reduced purchased power costs, and steady growth in electricity sales. The onshore wind power segment gained from increased generation after the full-capacity grid connection of the Renyi Wind Power Project. The thermal power segment benefited from the commissioning of Guangxi's first high-voltage electrode boiler, enabling flexible heat supply, along with lower coal prices and reduced fixed costs.
