Hana Microelectronics (HANA) reported its Q2/69 results, benefiting from the semiconductor cycle and AI trend recovery, and is proceeding with restructuring its Jiaxing plant toward power modules. Total revenue from its five main plants: Ayutthaya 2,850 million baht, up 22% QoQ and 14% YoY; Lamphun 2,315 million baht, up 7% QoQ but down 9% YoY; Jiaxing 272 million baht, down 33% QoQ but up 10% YoY; Ohio 458 million baht, up 25% QoQ and 51% YoY; and Cambodia 138 million baht, down 5% QoQ but up 53% YoY. The company holds cash reserves of 11,200 million baht to support a major capacity expansion in 2027. It faces higher raw material and memory chip costs, as well as uncertainty over Section 301 tariffs, but expects Thailand's new tariff rate to be around 12-15%, which is manageable.
