Hangzhou CableNet profit surge driven by recovery in optical fibre market with volume and price increases.

Hangzhou Cable has disclosed its performance forecast for the first half of 2026, projecting attributable net profit of approximately 360 million to 400 million yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 852.03% to 957.82%. The company stated that the sharp rise in net profit was mainly due to a recovery in the optical fibre and cable market, with optical fibre product demand achieving both volume and price increases, and fibre sales at its wholly-owned second-tier subsidiary Hangzhou Yongte Information Technology growing in tandem with the industry recovery. Since the beginning of this year, Hangzhou Cable's share price has risen significantly overall, with the maximum intra-year gain exceeding 600%. While consolidating its power cable business, the company is building optical communications and copper foil into strategic pillars.
