Hanmi acquires Tuspetinib, a lead AML asset, marking its first direct entry into North America.

Hanmi Pharmaceutical has completed its acquisition of Aptose Biosciences through its wholly owned subsidiary HS North America Ltd. The deal gives Hanmi ownership of Tuspetinib, Aptose's lead asset for acute myeloid leukaemia, marking what Hanmi previously called its first direct entry into North America. Aptose shareholders, excluding Hanmi purchasers and their affiliates, will receive C$2.41 in cash per share. Aptose shares are expected to be delisted from the TSX around July 3, 2026. Hanmi's stock rose 6.04% to 421,500 Korean won on the Korean Stock Exchange.
