Ms. Praphasri Suchantabutr, Chief Executive Officer of HANN, stated that this center will enable patients in the Mekong River Basin region to access world-class quality treatment without having to travel far to Bangkok. A key highlight is the import of an extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy machine, or ESWL, which is available in only a few locations in Thailand. This allows patients with kidney or urinary tract stones to be treated without surgery, reducing pain and recovery time. Meanwhile, patients who require surgery will receive treatment using minimally invasive endoscopic techniques to minimize wounds and speed up recovery. HANN's medical team has experience treating over 3,000 stone patients.
