Earthquake forces temporary suspension of seven branches and some ATMs, disrupting operations.
Higo Bank, a subsidiary of Kyushu Financial Group, announced on the 28th that it will suspend operations at seven branches, including the Yatsushiro branch, from the 29th until further notice. The resumption of operations will be announced on its website based on the restoration of branch facilities and lifelines. Some ATMs, including those outside branches, will also be suspended. The bank will operate mobile branch vehicles to continue providing financial services.
