HPE and Oracle have announced an expanded collaboration to deploy HPE Juniper Networking across Oracle's AI data centers globally, supporting one of the industry's largest AI infrastructure buildouts. The multi-year agreement includes routing and switching platforms, networking support services, and financing, building on over a decade of engineering work between Oracle and Juniper Networks. HPE Juniper Networking PTX and MX routers and QFX and EX switches will be deployed across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's data centers, with QFX switches providing high-density connectivity for large RoCEv2 AI backend networks. The companies are also collaborating on intelligent telemetry to improve visibility into network behavior and detect issues faster. As part of the agreement, HPE has issued Oracle warrants to purchase shares of HPE common stock.
