Hewlett Packard Enterprise CoHPE raised its fiscal 2027 outlook as AI networking orders rose 36% and it lifted its AI-networking order target to $2.5-3B.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise raised its fiscal 2027 outlook to 13% to 17% revenue growth and 16% to 20% EPS growth, with a free-cash-flow target of at least $5 billion, as AI networking demand accelerates. Chief Strategy Officer Shannon Cross, speaking at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference, said networking orders rose 36% while networking revenue grew 10% in the latest quarter, and the company lifted its fiscal 2026 AI-networking order target to $2.5 billion to $3 billion from $1.5 billion. HPE reported $2.4 billion in quarterly AI-server orders and nearly $7 billion in backlog, and raised its fiscal 2027 networking growth outlook to 14% to 17% from 8% to 12% previously. Cross said disclosed purchase commitments rose from $6 billion to $30 billion, with networking commitments doubling sequentially, and cited the previously announced Oracle AI data-center win plus the Juniper Networks integration as proof HPE can compete in AI data-center networking. HPE will hold a Networking Investor Day in the Bay Area on Sept. 30.
