The average selling price of commercial hogs in July was 10.65 yuan per kilogram, up 11.17% from June. The company said the year-on-year decline in hog sales revenue was mainly due to lower hog prices compared with the same period last year. In July, chicken sales volume was 1.3806 million birds, up 18.25% month-on-month and up 63.71% year-on-year; chicken sales revenue was 15.3097 million yuan, down 18.82% month-on-month and up 13.39% year-on-year. The year-on-year increase in chicken sales volume was mainly due to higher slaughter volume, while the month-on-month decline in chicken sales revenue was mainly due to lower unit selling prices.
