Shanghai Chinafortune Co LtdHuaxin Securities, a subsidiary of Shanghai Chinafortune, reported net profit nearly doubling and strong revenue growth in brokerage and asset management.

Huaxin Holdings disclosed its 2026 interim report. Subsidiary Huaxin Securities achieved first-half revenue of 1.367 billion yuan, up more than 20% year on year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company of 431 million yuan, nearly doubling year on year. As of June 30, Huaxin Securities had total assets of 55.783 billion yuan and net assets of 8.786 billion yuan. Brokerage revenue was 602 million yuan, up 30.34% year on year. Asset management revenue was 200 million yuan, a sharp increase of 130.42% year on year, with total assets under management reaching 178 billion yuan. By contrast, investment banking was affected by the market environment, with revenue of 37.07 million yuan, down 60.77% year on year, mainly due to a decline in fee and commission income. Proprietary investment revenue was 237 million yuan, up 16.92% year on year.
