Hyperscale Data, Inc.Selling Bitcoin to fund AI data center expansion and reduce debt improves capital structure.

Hyperscale Data has sold approximately 685 Bitcoin for about $43 million to help finance the expansion of its Michigan data center. The Las Vegas-based company, which trades on the NYSE American under the ticker GPUS, said the sale gives it more flexibility to manage debt, equity, and capital structure, and it has reduced debt by roughly $30 million. Executive Chairman Milton Ault said the move is about capital allocation, converting a portion of a highly liquid asset to accelerate development of a key portfolio asset. Hyperscale still holds 275 Bitcoin, down from about 960 before the sale, and plans to continue mining Bitcoin and may rebuild holdings over time. The Michigan facility is central to Hyperscale's shift toward AI infrastructure through its Sentinum subsidiary, which provides colocation and hosting for AI companies.
