Ideal Power IncSales funnel expanded to over $400 million driven by AI data center demand for 800-volt architectures.

Ideal Power Inc. reported that its sales funnel expanded to over $400 million, a $100 million increase since mid-May, driven by the transition to 800-volt DC power architectures in AI data centers. The company is prioritizing industrial JEDEC qualification over automotive AECQ to align with immediate revenue opportunities in data centers and energy infrastructure, and introduced a new solid-state circuit breaker reference design kit. Prototype B-TRAN-enabled solid-state circuit breakers are expected to be available for 800-volt AI data center customers in the fourth quarter of 2026, with initial low-volume orders anticipated in the same period. Full year 2026 cash burn is projected at $10.3 million to $10.5 million, and the company raised $27.7 million in net proceeds through a registered direct offering in May, resulting in a cash balance of $41.3 million and no debt as of June 30, 2026. Management expects the rollout of 800-volt AI data center power architectures to begin in the second half of 2027, with aggressive adoption continuing into 2028.
