Inchcape has completed its acquisition of Silver Star, the official distributor of Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles and Daimler Trucks and Buses in Bulgaria. The deal expands Inchcape's Bulgarian market share in passenger vehicles from about 13% to more than 16%, and in light commercial vehicles from about 6% to about 8%, while also giving it an approximately 11% share in trucks. The acquisition aligns with the Group's Accelerate+ strategy and its disciplined approach to capital allocation. Group Chief Executive Duncan Tait said the move grows the partnership with Mercedes-Benz by adding passenger vehicles and Daimler Trucks and Buses to its Bulgarian portfolio.
