IonQ shares rose 4.4% in premarket trading after the quantum computing company reported stronger-than-expected second-quarter results and raised its full-year 2026 revenue outlook. Needham analyst N. Quinn Bolton highlighted IonQ's strong cash balance and industry-leading 2-qubit gate fidelity on its Forte 29-Qubit system, maintaining a Neutral rating with a $65 price target. Wedbush Securities analyst Matt Bryson noted a fifth consecutive quarter of record revenue and an increased 2026 outlook that excludes contributions from the recent SkyWater acquisition, reiterating an Outperform rating and a $75 price target. Separately, IonQ was awarded a contract under the National Reconnaissance Office's Radar Commercial Augmentation program and received a $28 million contract extension from DARPA's It's About Time program, under which it will invest $15 million to deliver 125 atomic clocks to the U.S. government.
