Ipsen reported positive topline results from the Phase 3 BEOND study for Dysport, showing a significant reduction in monthly migraine days for both episodic and chronic migraine patients compared to placebo. The study included two cohorts, E-BEOND for episodic migraines and C-BEOND for chronic migraines, both of which met their primary endpoints. Dysport was well-tolerated with a consistent safety profile, and Ipsen noted it is the only botulinum-derived drug to demonstrate statistically significant efficacy in episodic migraines. The drug, an injectable botulinum neurotoxin type A, has been approved in over 90 countries since 2009.
